LVNV Funding $1,264.15 debt collection lawsuit dismissed in favor of our client
LVNV Funding sued our client for $1,264.15… but the case didn’t end the way they expected. A debt collector filed a lawsuit against our client seeking $1,264.15. After reviewing the case, we identified legal violations and filed a $2,000 lawsuit against the debt collector. Shortly afterward, the debt collector voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit. In exchange, our client agreed to dismiss the $2,000 lawsuit. The debt collector also stopped all collection efforts and ceased reporting the account to the credit bureaus. Many people don’t realize that debt collectors must follow the law. When they don’t, you may have defenses and legal claims that can completely change the outcome.
